Dispatch Pet Taxi Bookings

/pet-taxi is the operating screen for pickup and dropoff transport services. It combines reservation intake, vehicle-resource assignment, daily dispatch visibility, completion handling, and service pricing.

Before You Start

If isTaxiEnabled is off for the branch, the screen appears disabled and the user is directed back toward facility configuration.

That means a "missing menu" issue often starts with facility enablement, not role troubleshooting.

Create a Dispatch Booking

Step 1. Start the booking

Use New Dispatch to open the service booking modal.

Step 2. Select customer and pet

As with hotel and grooming, customer and pet selection comes first.

Step 3. Enter dispatch details

Important dispatch fields include:

• reservation time
• vehicle or dispatch resource
• assigned driver or staff
• pickup address
• dropoff address
• comment

Pickup and dropoff addresses are effectively required operational data even when the screen still opens without them.

Step 4. Add optional services

If extra service items need to be billed with the transport booking, attach them in the add-on stage.

Step 5. Review and confirm

Recheck the time, vehicle, customer context, and both addresses before confirming.

Use the View Modes

daily

The default daily board uses a 24-hour time axis and shows reservations by vehicle resource.

• left side: vehicle or driver resource
• right side: reservation blocks across time

booking

The booking view is a list-oriented view that is easier for chronological review and quick detail entry.

Read Status Meaning

BOOKED

Dispatch is scheduled but not started yet.

CHECKED_IN

Transit is in progress.

CHECKED_OUT

The trip is complete.

CANCELLED

The dispatch was cancelled.

Warning: CHECKED_IN should be read as transport already started, not as a soft pre-dispatch state.

Operational Hub

pricing

Taxi-category service pricing, VAT behavior, code, and active state.

vehicles

Vehicle or dispatch resources. The board treats them like room-style resources, so vehicle naming becomes a key identifier in the daily view.

Changing vehicle naming conventions too often makes the board harder to read, so define a standard early.

Practical Tips

• use daily first for same-day dispatch conflict review
• use booking to clean up reservation lists
• for customers with multiple pets, always verify both address and pet identity before confirming dispatch
